David has 22 years experience in the photographic
industry.
He started his career in the military, working
as a photographic technician in aerial photography,
before moving to The National Mapping Agency to
work with photogrammetry and photography.
After
successfully achieving two university qualifications
in photography he set up his own photographic practice
in 1990 specialising in construction, design and
architecture. He has worked for all major construction
and construction-related companies in Ireland and
some of the top design consultants as well submitting
a lot of work for print.
Although much of David’s work is based in Ireland,
he has many clients in the UK, Europe and USA and
has travelled extensively, including spending several
months working in the Middle East with Saudi Aramco
(The National Oil Company of The Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia) as a photographic specialist.
David has been a full member of The Irish Professional
Photographers Association for the last sixteen years
as well as a full member of the National Union of
Journalists for the last nine years.
Because of his work in the construction industry,
he has undertaken Health and Safety Awareness Training
and holds a “Safepass” registration card.
