David has 22 years experience in the photographic industry.

He started his career in the military, working as a photographic technician in aerial photography, before moving to The National Mapping Agency to work with photogrammetry and photography.

After successfully achieving two university qualifications in photography he set up his own photographic practice in 1990 specialising in construction, design and architecture. He has worked for all major construction and construction-related companies in Ireland and some of the top design consultants as well submitting a lot of work for print.

Although much of David’s work is based in Ireland, he has many clients in the UK, Europe and USA and has travelled extensively, including spending several months working in the Middle East with Saudi Aramco (The National Oil Company of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) as a photographic specialist.

David has been a full member of The Irish Professional Photographers Association for the last sixteen years as well as a full member of the National Union of Journalists for the last nine years.
Because of his work in the construction industry, he has undertaken Health and Safety Awareness Training and holds a “Safepass” registration card.
